About me: My name’s Beth. I’m a freshman in college on the East Coast of the United States. I grew up with two older brothers and a stack of books. I’m pretty much an all-around nerd and book-lover, especially of speculative fiction.
I love horses, writing, coffee, reading, having LOTR marathons, Jesus, my fuzzy TARDIS blanket, Hamilton, and that awesome feeling after a day of insane writing. (Not necessarily in that order.)
About my writing: I’ve now written two fantasy novels – the first is a high fantasy called The Sound of Color (info here) and the second was an urban fantasy thing with dragons that I wrote for NaNoWriMo in 2015 (post about that here). I’m currently working on a contemporary about a bookstore that’s open 24-7 and holds wonders beyond your imagination.
About this blog: I want this website to be a place of community. A place where writers young and old can feel like they’re not alone. (Teen writers especially.)
One of the most amazing discoveries in my writing journey was when I stumbled across a blog called Cracking the WIP. It was so helpful for me to simply see how other writers did things. I hope this blog can be similar to you, and that my ramblings can offer inspiration, determination, and maybe a feeling that you’re not alone in the universe.
Find me on all the places!
